- Advantage Motorcycles was first established in 1993 as a motorcycle repair and accessory business. It was originally located at 371 Old Geelong Rd Hoppers Crossing
- In 1996 the Honda Franchise was acquired after building the business with a reputation for good honest customer service
- 1999 marked the move to brand new purpose built premises situated at 357-359 Old Geelong Rd Hoppers Crossing. The Grand opening attracted International Honda riders, Colin Edwards and Aaron Slight along with many fans who joined in to celebrate this event..
- During 2000 the Suzuki franchise was acquired with the establishment of Team One Motorcycles as a separate business entity. This was originally located at 371 Old Geelong Rd Hoppers Crossing.
- In 2002, further development saw Team One Motorcycles and Suzuki move to new revamped showroom premises located at 357 Old Geelong Rd. This was alongside the existing Advantage Motorcycles Honda showroom located at 359 Old Geelong Rd Hoppers Crossing.
- 2010 saw a total renovation of the original premises located at 371 Old Geelong Rd take place to house a state of the art factory certified Honda and Suzuki service repair centre.
- In 2014 BMW Motorrad was acquired along with further renovation performed to accommodate this prestigious brand.
